What is a payment terminal?

Simply put, it is a cashless payment device for merchants—a payment hardware device designed for cardholders to provide authorization, transaction, and settlement services—which is primarily used in the bank card acceptance business.

Where can I use the terminal?

In all European countries - you’ll need a Wi-Fi connection (just like with your smartphone) or a 4G SIM card. The terminal works wherever there’s a signal: both in stores and on the street.

How long does it take for the amount of card transactions to be credited to my account?

Payments are usually processed on the next business day after the funds are received from the banks.

Is the POS terminal secure?

POS terminals hold the certifications required for EMV Levels 1 and 2 and PCI-PTS 5.x.
In addition, the terminals are PCI-P2PE certified. P2PE, or Point-to-Point Encryption, means that all sensitive card data is transmitted in a strictly encrypted form and can never end up in the wrong hands.
